Cambridge United football captain and Young Epilepsy ambassador, Leon Legge, recalls the moment with the Daily Mail when he collapsed whilst football training, later being diagnosed with epilepsy.

Leon was first diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 16, during training session, where he went to header the ball but went completely blank, waking up half an hour later surrounded by paramedics. He has taken to hospital but was later discharged. It wasn’t until the second incident, where he was kept in for a week of assessments and was eventually diagnosed by a neurologist with epilepsy.
